Monitoring Results for Impact

The GFF is focused on prioritizing and scaling up evidence-driven investments to improve reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition as a critical step toward accelerating progress on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in GFF partner countries. The SDGs are monitored using core impact indicators, collected by governments and development partners through existing surveys and reporting systems.

The SDGs are monitored using core impact indicators, collected by governments and development partners through existing surveys and reporting systems. Country survey data, such as the Demographic Health Surveys (DHSs) and Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) are optimally conducted every three to five years to determine changes in important health and nutrition outcomes. The map below shows the latest data for each impact indicator for GFF partner countries.

The GFF Logic Model: Driving Better Health and Nutrition Outcomes

To help countries achieve the SDGs, the GFF logic model provides a basis for measuring progress by tracking the stepwise progression from inputs to activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact.

To help countries achieve the SDGs, the GFF logic model provides a basis for measuring progress by tracking the stepwise progression from inputs to activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact. Success is measured using a set of indicators which rely on a range of data sources, including data from routine country systems, population-based surveys, Systems for Health Accounts, World Bank project data, and GFF administrative and financing data.

Progress against the GFF Logic Model

The GFF Logic Model data measures and summarizes the progress and achievements across the portfolio of GFF partner countries.  The data are provided as outputs, outcomes and impact indicators aligned with the length of time a GFF partner country has been implementing.
